Wasa Dredging specializes in underwater drilling and blasting, backhoe dredging and dredging of hard soils.

Wasa Dredging works as a marine offshore and inland water construction company mainly in the Nordic countries, the Baltic countries and Russia. We are currently expanding our market to main Europe. Our line of business concerns of capital and maintenance dredging of fairways and harbors by backhoe dredgers. Underwater blasting and dredging of hard material are our specialty. Wasa Dredging was founded in 1984.

A new start and a new vision

Wasa Dredging sold their dredging business in 2006. In 2009 the company took the strategic decision to return to the dredging industry by building new main equipment, and late 2009 the company was awarded the 13.0 mil. € contract for deepening the port of Pori, Mäntyluoto Harbuor to -13.5 m in 2009. Wasa Dredging is a quickly expanding company, strategic building of new equipment for new markets in 2012 and 2013 is planned, this result in a demand for additional professional personnel in the future.
